CONNECT THE DOTS 2015

KING SHIT, CONVERSE CONS and HELLACLIPS present the most creative contest in skateboarding — CONNECT THE DOTS. $20,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs. To win, all you have to do is send us a 5 minute video and 10 photos. Not exactly rocket science. There are only THREE rules:

1) Everything has to be shot between July 2nd to Aug 2nd.

2) No more than 10 skateboarders per team (including filmer and photographer). Non-skating actors don't count as team members.

3) Entries are limited to 5 minutes of video and 10 photos (can be less, but no more)

Teams will get their entry packages on July 2nd and then have the ENTIRE MONTH to shoot, film, and edit their entry and get it to us no later than 5pm EST on Monday August 3rd, 2015. Then, King Shit, Converse and Hellclips staff will sit down with a few cases of "judgment enhancers" and pick a winner in each of the following categories:

1) BEST OVERALL - $10,000

2) BEST SKATEBOARDING - $5,000

3) MOST CREATIVE - $5,000

But we can't stress enough: the contest is judged on the best combination of both photos AND video—just a bangin' video won't win you any money. How you combine the two is entirely up to you, but you better have good photos to go with your video. The Top 10 videos will be featured on the King Shit site and Hellaclips.com, as well as at premieres across the USA and Canada. The three winning entries photos will also get featured in the Fall Issue of the mag. That's it. You've got three months to get your shit together and come up with an awesome idea, and a whole month to get it done. There's no excuses here, people.
