SPANKY FOR EMERICA

Emerica recently released a new classically-styled-but-modernly-constructed cupsole shoe called The Dissent, and they gave the much loved Kevin "Spanky" Long his own colourway and this commercial to promote it. Check it out.

Kevin is as creative as it gets, which is why, this time around, we handed the keys to the house over to him entirely, allowing him to create all of the content, including videos and imagery, to introduce his signature Dissent colorway. This project comes to fruition from Spanky’s mind, utilizing his creative talents and grasp on his personal digital landscape, melding both worlds together into Kevin’s signature Dissent colorway, as the cover to Spanky’s tangible manuscript.

This feels like a good time to rewatch his part from 2003's This is Skateboarding, a classic part set to "Close to Me" by The Cure.
