What’s the secret to the Montreal hustle and getting by without a job?
If you feel like living in a loft with a bunch of buds and willing to work odd jobs, you'll find your way. Rent is real nice and cheap so you could either do that or work in a kitchen. There aren’t many options for work here if you don't speak French, so that's why lots of people avoid jobs because you can get away with it. If you decide to go that route, just use that free time wisely.
How did Alltimers come about?
Pryce and Robbie. I met them on a Quiksilver trip around 2011-12; which is still one of the most special trips I have ever been on. Most handsome and amazing group of boys, I'll tell ya. I just stayed in contact with Robbie – then when they started to do Alltimers more full time and asked me if I wanted to come on over, it was obvious. Love you guys.
Your board is razor-tailed and your wheels are 43mm’s, why skate your gear until it’s this dead?
Why not? Can't be picky with that stuff, it's just skateboarding. Plus it's fun; it's supposed to get used for more than a week… Maybe I like it so much because it reminds me of when you were a kid and you had no choice to skate a board for a year. Then when you get a new board, oh man smiles for miles!
Tell the kids at home why it’s important not to smoke cigarettes.
It's just not as nice as it looks, it hurts and you become sore, you depend on it, it's smelly, and it’s just no good so please don't do it. Treat yourself nice and get a roner instead.
