MQC’s 25th Annual City Hall Poser Game Championship

Congratulations Zander Mitchell for winning MQC’s 25th Annual City Hall Poser Game Championship with a flawless victory. This marks his 8th time holding the trophy. If not for COVID-19 in 2020 and an injury in 2021, it is safe to assume this would have been his 10th consecutive win.

This year felt extra special, not only because the game reached its twenty-five-year milestone, but also due to the remarkable attendees.

A quarter of a century is a long time, so it’s understandable that many of the original participants no longer enter the game due to age or chronic injuries. However, we were thrilled to see some of our heroes: Zachary Wilkins, Hugo Papillon, and Alexis Lacroix.

We are excited to see the grommets rolling up to bench with no fucks given facing Zander. Jayden Sauvé and Simon Grégoire are champions of the future.

A shout-out to Morgan DT for squaring off with Zander in the final rounds, and hats off to Léo Hamel, Gabriel Petron, Callem McConomy, Ryan Racine, Vaiké, Zach Ayyoyy, and everyone else for putting on a great show.

Big respect to Big James, Etienne Tanguay, and Dan Mathieu for keeping the game alive all these years. Your dedication is priceless. We are looking forward to the next 25 years with you and everyone in the crowd.
