"I was craving waffles on a cross-Canada road trip. I remembered my friends telling me how easy it was to act like a hotel guest and hit up the free continental breakfast. I didn't even make it halfway through the buffet lineup before an employee, waiting for a power trip, walked up to me and threatened to call the cops. After a couple of minutes, quietly freaking out about having a criminal record over a stupid waffle, the manager of the hotel showed up. The guy used to skate and was hyped on my trip.
